About
Fiona is a passionate, executive recruitment professional with over twenty years in client services and operational management roles. As a founding partner of Arete Executive with Richard Triggs they created a niche, challenger executive search firm and Career Coaching business.
The early days of her career saw her work in the Tourism & Hospitality industry across Australia, South East Asia and the Middle East. She held senior business development and marketing roles with some of Australia’s best-known sporting and entertainment venues and managed marketing consultancy programs for four and five star hotels. Upon returning home she began her career within the Executive Search & Recruitment sector working with multi-national brands in Senior Business Development and subsequent State Manager roles. In 2018 she departed Arete Executive and joined a privately owned Talent Advisory Business headquartered in Queensland as the Head of Client Services, partnering with east coast clients to solve their people problems – Leadership Development, Career Transition, Executive Search and Recruitment.
Fiona has recently rejoined Arete Executive as the Chief Operating Officer to partner on the next iteration and growth strategy for the business. She is a commercially astute leader who builds and values relationships with stakeholders from team leaders through to C-suite executives and board members. She has a passion for operational best practice and is focused on the utilisation of people and technology to achieve great results for all to support business strategy. She is an advocate for increasing diversity in all leadership roles and on boards.
