Neil McIntyre has had a long and varied career. Starting as an electrical trades assistant on a mining site in Tennant Creek, Neil moved on to studying economics and a career in banking in Australia and Papua New Guinea. He has since returned to mining and exploration, this time working with his head rather than his hands.
As CEO of Diatreme Resources Limited, an ASX listed company based in Brisbane, Neil has been focused on restructuring the business, transitioning from being an exploration company to becoming a developer of mining resources. After six years in the role, it’s fair to say that the strategy is working, with the market capitalisation increasing tenfold in that time.
