About the opportunity:
An exceptional and valuable opportunity awaits an experienced Sales Manager to assume a pivotal role within a distinguished leader focused in industrial / heavy industry sector. Responsible for managing a team of 15 sales and account managers, you will design a robust strategic sales plan and initiate change leadership measures to effect transformative outcomes within the organisation.
With a focus on guiding a strategic evolution, this role encompasses leading a team of experienced professionals to boost market share and improve profitability. In this role, you will actively pursue and convert strategic opportunities that play a pivotal role in the overarching success of the sales strategy. Additionally, ensuring customer satisfaction and managing dispute resolution are integral aspects of the responsibilities.

You are a forward-thinking sales professional with an industrial/heavy industry background focused on a product out, as opposed to service-based organisation. You have proven success in a strategic sales manager position driving outcomes, as well as channel sales exposure in a complex multi sale and distribution business. Your strong leadership background will demonstrate your ability to upskill a sales team and drive significant growth. You place a significant emphasis on data-driven decision-making and possess analytical capabilities. Your ability to secure substantial tenders exceeding $30 million and cultivate relationships with large client accounts underscores your role in sustaining business growth. You hold extensive experience in a strategic capacity, involving contributions to long-term vision and goals, along with the continuous development of the sales team. Additionally, you excel in interpersonal skills, possess gravitas, and can build rapport with internal and external stakeholders. With a growth mindset, high curiosity, and a focus on solutions, you thrive in fostering positive relationships and driving success.
