About the Role: 

This role has been created to support the next phase of growth for a successful, brand-led Australian consumer business with an established presence in the market and strong commercial foundations. 

The business is profitable, well run and ambitious. What is now required is a senior finance leader who can bring structure, clarity and commercial discipline as the organisation scales. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will play a central role in shaping how growth is planned, funded and executed. 

This is a newly created executive role with genuine influence, suited to a hands-on finance leader who enjoys building capability and shaping how a business scales. The company is entering a growth phase with a clear ambition to exceed $100M+ in revenue. 

Key accountabilities include: 

• Leading and evolving the finance function to support scale 

• Providing clear, practical financial insight to the CEO and board 

• Building forecasting, modelling and scenario capability to underpin growth decisions 

• Strengthening governance, controls and reporting appropriate for a scaling business 

• Partnering closely with operations, supply chain and leadership on margin, working capital and investment decisions 

• Establishing systems and processes that will stand up as revenue and complexity increase 

About You 

You are a commercially grounded finance leader who has operated in brand-led, product-based businesses. Your background may sit within FMCG; however, we are open to senior finance leaders from adjacent, brand-led, product-based industries where commercial discipline, margin management and working capital are critical. Relevant experience may include consumer health, branded beverages, alcohol, pet products, home or lifestyle brands, apparel, or branded building products. Manufacturing background highly regarded.
