About the Opportunity
This opportunity places you at the inception of a high-impact strategic reset, offering a rare chance to help shape its direction, structure, and long-term success. You’ll be at the centre of a high-profile evolution within one of Australia’s most complex, values-led businesses. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this is your chance to influence the future of a division that has recently merged two highly specialised business units into one integrated structure.  

You will coordinate the creation and execution of strategy across 7 distinct verticals, managing programs that deliver EBIT uplift and commercial value. You won’t be a passive program owner – you’ll be the one who facilitates strategic planning workshops, builds frameworks, tracks initiative performance, and ensures momentum stays high. While you won’t carry direct authority, you’ll hold considerable influence by partnering across senior leaders in sales, commercial, finance, and senior operations to drive execution and decision-making.  

Expect complexity, autonomy, and exposure. The team has completed the restructure – now it’s time to embed clarity, focus, and transformation. The General Manager is seeking a strategic partner to help simplify the business, commercialise opportunities, and lead with influence. This is a true “center of gravity” role – part strategist, part facilitator, and part integrator.  

About You
You’ve operated in complex, matrixed environments where strategic delivery is second nature. Whether your background sits in strategy, commercial finance, enterprise PMO, or program leadership, you understand how to drive meaningful strategic outcomes at scale. Your experience likely comes from ASX-listed or large private businesses, and you may have worked in service-driven sectors such as logistics, manufacturing, infrastructure, utilities, or construction, though all backgrounds considered. An operations lens is valuable, but more important is your ability to influence across functions, align diverse stakeholders, and ensure delivery.  

You’re commercially sharp and naturally inquisitive – driven to understand how businesses create value and where impact can be made. Just as importantly, you care about the purpose behind the work. The General Manager leads with energy and conviction, and is looking for someone who shares that same belief in the value the business delivers. This is a team that genuinely cares – about performance, about each other, and about making a real difference in the market.
