About the opportunity
This newly created national role offers executive trust to lead the commercial agenda for a $500M+ division amid transformation. With multiple vertically integrated business units – each with unique rhythms, customers, and commercial drivers – you’ll navigate complexity at scale and lead with impact.
As the commercial anchor, you’ll drive alignment, uplift capability, and embed commercial clarity and consistency across the portfolio. Contracts are a critical lever – you’ll manage complex, high-value, multi-year agreements, balancing risk, renewal timing, and terms to support sustainable margin and growth. Your expertise will directly boost bottom-line performance and resilience.
Leading a team of Commercial Business Partners, you’ll set the rhythm for reporting and decision-making, shape pricing, optimise contracts and margins, enhance forecasting and analysis, and partner closely with executives and operations. You’ll also be key to transformation projects—supporting growth initiatives, business cases, rebranding, bundling strategies, and operational uplift across multiple verticals.
About you
You are a commercially focused leader with strong financial credentials and a track record of guiding teams through change. You have experience in complex, asset-intensive, multi-site environments such as industrial services, logistics, manufacturing, energy, or mining. You are CA or CPA qualified and confident engaging with both operational and executive stakeholders. You bring deep expertise in managing complex, high-value, multi-year contracts across diverse portfolios. You understand how to balance risk, timing of renewals, and commercial terms to protect margin and drive sustainable growth. Your ability to improve contract structures and negotiation processes directly strengthens commercial resilience and financial performance. You lead with clarity and purpose, and you know how to coach and build up teams during a transformation. You are comfortable moving between strategic thinking and hands-on problem solving.
