About the Opportunity: 
This is a rare opportunity to take on a critical strategic role with a leading industrial B2B company.  You will lead major project pursuits throughout New South Wales. You’ll engage directly with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors on major infrastructure projects across all facets including transport, energy, defense and more – building early relationships, leading bid responses, and driving successful conversion of $5M+ opportunities. With active tenders, a growing pipeline, and internal confidence to elevate this function, now is the perfect time to make your mark. 

About You: 
You’re a business development professional with deep roots in the infrastructure, construction, mining or similar industrial sectors. You understand the long sales cycle and complexity of major tenders and have a record of success engaging with top tier national businesses. 
You’re proactive, commercially sharp and a confident relationship builder who can rally internal and external stakeholders to drive results. Importantly, you’re hungry – always on the lookout for what’s next, what’s missing, and what projects can be won. 

Key Requirements: 
– Experience in business development or tender leadership in construction or adjacent sectors 
– Proven success managing long-cycle, high-value tenders (>$5M) 
– Skilled in coordinating cross-functional bid teams and pricing strategy 
– Exceptional stakeholder engagement – internally and externally 
– Based in NSW (Sydney), able to travel occasionally across the region
