About the Opportunity
As the Project Execution Manager, you’ll be the driving force in transforming ambitious visions into tangible results. This role is a blend of strategic oversight and hands-on management, focusing on large-scale construction and demolition projects. Imagine orchestrating the expansion of camps, steering the demolition of legacy structures, and overseeing the transformation of landscapes through bulk earthworks and infrastructure installations.
Your day-to-day will involve navigating the complexities of contractor relationships and excelling in contract administration. Leading with a commitment to safety, you’ll champion initiatives that elevate project execution standards. This position is an opportunity to leave a lasting imprint of efficiency, safety, and compliance on a project that’s setting new benchmarks in the industry.
You are a seasoned professional and have a long history of experience in civil and mining work, skilled in managing large-scale, multifaceted projects. Your expertise includes a proven track record in contractor management, especially in overseeing large-scale bulk earthwork or material movement projects, moving over 100 million tonnes of material. You have demonstrated experience in leading and developing teams in project execution and have successfully delivered projects valued at over $500 million. Your strong safety leadership is evident in your history of implementing effective safety protocols and maintaining an exemplary safety record. With relevant qualifications in Engineering and/or Project Management, you are prepared to be based in Darwin or to adopt a FIFO arrangement from major Australian cities.
