About the Opportunity
As a Joint Venture Manager, you have the chance to join a 50/50 joint venture involving a first nations owned business and a resource management corporate. In this role, your responsibilities will span a wide range of critical functions, including leading tenders, overseeing finances, managing risks, fostering stakeholder relationships, ensuring safety, and driving growth within the Northwest Pilbara region.
About You
To thrive in this role, we are seeking a candidate with a strong background in Business Development, particularly in securing substantial contracts exceeding $50 million. A deep understanding of the Northwest region is vital, as is a proven track record in safety leadership. Full P&L management experience is essential, and experience in mining operations would be valuable. Familiarity with working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities is advantageous, and while a tertiary qualification in management is preferred, it is not mandatory. Experience within industries such as waste, transport, recycling, or resources would be highly beneficial.
