Available due to growth, we are seeking a Financial Controller/Junior CFO to join our client’s team. This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional who thrives on managing both the strategic and operational aspects of financial management. You will lead a small, collaborative finance team, overseeing everything from financial reporting and budgeting to cash flow management and day-to-day transactions. Working closely with the C-suite team, you’ll be mentored to further enhance your financial expertise and leadership capabilities. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience while being guided by leaders who understand the challenges and nuances of the role you’re stepping into.

You are a seasoned financial professional with a passion for operational finance and cash flow management. CPA or CA qualified, you have proven experience across the full spectrum of financial management within a fast-growing SME. You will have asset-based business experience such as manufacturing, building services, construction, mining or similar You grasp the complexities of SMEs and adopt a proactive approach, delving into the operational and detailed aspects of finance with a hands-on approach. You have experience leading a small finance team and handling board reporting. This role is based on-site in Brisbane’s southside.
