About the Opportunity:
The Business / Office Manager role is crucial for ensuring the seamless daily operations of our clients’ company and directly supporting the CEO and a small, dynamic team of 10. In this corporate start-up environment, you’ll take on a wide range of responsibilities, with opportunities to focus on areas that align with your strengths and interests.
You will be involved in everything from recruitment, HR, and training to internal and external reporting, legal and compliance matters, branding and communications, project management, and office administration. A hands-on approach is key, as you’ll support the business wherever needed, whether it’s overseeing / engaging contractors, managing reporting timelines or overseeing report content, or coordinating team efforts and events. This company seeks a dynamic, proactive individual who will take ownership of their role, develop a deep understanding of our business and market, and drive continuous improvement and growth.
About You:
- You have demonstrated experience working in a start-up or small company environment.
- You enjoy being a jack/jill of all trades, thriving in a broad and hands-on role.
- You are a proactive, solutions-focused professional with a proven track record of proposing and implementing effective solutions.
- You possess strong experience in at least two of the following areas: recruitment, training and HR, internal and external reporting, legal and compliance, branding and communications, project management, or office management.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with entrepreneurial energy and a strong drive to get things done.
- Connection ro the energy or ajacent sector is advantageous.
- You have strong attention to detail, proficient organizational skills, and sound judgment.
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or Legal are desirable.
- You are humble, genuine, and solutions focused, fitting well into a small close knit team environment.
