About the Opportunity
Are you ready to take the reins in a role that offers the best of both worlds— the personal touch of a tight-knit team within an independently-owned business combined with the opportunities of a market leader?
This role is perfect for someone who loves a fast-paced environment, being on the road meeting clients face-to-face and excels at solution selling. This is not a cold-calling role – success here is built on visibility, relationships, and personal connection. With the flexibility to work remotely, on the go, or at the closest office space, you will manage a large portfolio of loyal Tier 1,2 & 3 clients who appreciate genuine partnerships. You will immerse yourself within the western Sydney market, keeping up to date with projects and keeping your finger on the pulse on a daily basis. Reporting to a supportive management team, you’ll feel empowered to grow your portfolio and contribute to many infrastructure projects that make a real difference across the region. This role offers a split between new business development and account management, giving you the chance to explore new opportunities while strengthening and building on existing partnerships.
About You
You bring proven experience in new business sales and account management, ideally within trade, building materials, or a product-related industry. A technical mindset, paired with strong communication skills, enables you to connect with clients from all walks of life and build lasting relationships. Commercially savvy, you have the ability to negotiate effectively and manage accounts strategically, always focusing on managing long-term partnerships.
You’re someone who thrives in the field, spending most of your days on the road, being present and consistent with your client base. You understand the value of touchpoints and enjoy the rhythm of site visits, check-ins, and building rapport face to face. While you are self-driven and accountable, you value teamwork and enjoy working alongside others to achieve shared goals. A valid driver’s licence and your own reliable transport are essential in this field-based role.
What’s on Offer
This is a great opportunity to join a business that genuinely values its people and their growth. With decades of industry presence and a deeply loyal client base, the business offers a level of stability and trust that sets it apart. A competitive package, including attractive incentives and a motor vehicle allowance, ensures you’ll have everything you need to thrive. Career development opportunities, ongoing support, and the chance to contribute to impactful projects that shape communities make this an exciting and fulfilling role—one where you can build something meaningful, long-term.
